We’re now putting the power in your hands, to create your very own butcher’s box selection and save up to 22%. Plus, you can combine discounts with a couple of our most popular products for even greater savings.
How does it work? Just add whatever products you’d like into your shopping cart, and then at checkout, apply one of these coupon codes:
- BUILDABOX15 for 15% off orders of $500 or more*.
- BUILDABOX18 for 18% off orders of $750 or more*.
- BUILDABOX22 for 22% off orders of $1000 or more*.
* Some products are excluded — they do count towards your order total, but the discount won’t apply to them. Here are the products that you can add to your cart, but that won’t be included in your calculated discount:
Build-a-box Exlusions:
- any product that is on sale;
- any product that already has a volume discount ,such as our previously listed meat boxes;
- milk and eggs
- sides of beef, pork, lamb, and goat;
- whole roasting pigs, and
- gift certificates.
What we ARE including are volume-discounted pork sausages, stewing beef, and ground beef. So you can combine discounts on them:
- order ground beef in 10-pound, 25-pound, or 50-pound quantities, and combine your build-a-box discount with them for a total savings of up to 43.8% off ground beef.
order stewing beef in 10-pound quantities, and combine discounts for a total of up to 32% off.
- order 10-pound packs of pork sausages, and combine their volume discount with your build-a-box savings, for a total of up to 33.7% off sausages. Available in 10-pound quantities of regular, garlic, Italian, barbeque, and maple breakfast sausages, as well as our mixed-flavour Family Pack.
Just remember that apart from ground beef and pork sausages, you’ll need to add individual products to your cart, not their already volume-discounted quantities, for them to qualify for your build-a-box discount. For example, you could add 10 individual packages of chicken drumsticks, and those will qualify for up to a 22% discount. But if you add 10x chicken drumsticks for 11% off to your cart, that will not get an additional discount. So you’re better off with the 10 single packages.
You can change the quantities of any of your products in your shopping cart.
You’re also welcome to add excluded products to your order, such as milk and eggs. They will apply to your build-a-box qualifying total, they just won’t be included in your discount calculation.

Here’s an example of a build-a-box order.
Let’s say your shopping cart includes these items:

- 1× package of sliced ham
- 1× package of sliced Montreal smoked beef
- 1× one dozen organic eggs
- 1× 2-litre bottle of organic milk
This gives an order total of $537.11. Using code BUILDABOX15 at checkout takes off a discount of $77.14, which is 15% off everything except the milk and eggs.
This adds to the savings that you’re already getting on the ground beef ($42.39) and the sausages ($15.75) for a total savings of $135.28. Plus, depending where you’re located, it likely qualifies for free shipping to your door.
