Our young Ontario goats are raised on free-range pasture land. And like all of our animals, they are treated with maximum care and kindness for a stress-free life.
Our goat herd is raised on no-spray organic grasslands, where they are free to roam all spring, summer and fall. Over the winter, they eat 100% non-GMO grass and hay, cut from the same naturally-grown pastures, plus supplemental fresh greens and whole grains.
They are raised without antibiotics or any other drugs, medications, or growth promoters. Just all-natural, free-range goats, grown the way our great-grandparents did.
We think that this makes for the best-tasting goat meat you can find anywhere.
Goat meat is also known as chevon, capretto, cabrito, yagisashi, or kid. The meat is savoury, and slightly sweeter than lamb. Some other goat meats can have a bit of a gamey flavour, but ours comes exclusively from young goats, and is mild yet rich in flavour.
Goat meat benefits from moist slow-cooking at low heat, which makes it an outstanding meat for stews and curries. Depending on the cut, it can also be absolutely delicious when grilled or barbequed.
Our goat is drug-free, antibiotic-free, raised on GMO-free & spray-free grass and hay, and with zero animal-product feeds. It is processed at a regulated, government inspected and family-owned local butcher shop, and is hand-butchered into individually vacuum-sealed cuts.
We offer our goat meat as a half (side) or whole goat, hand-butchered into a nice selection of cuts for your freezer.

You can choose a half goat or a whole goat, and you will get all of the individually-packaged cuts in each, at a significant discount from ordering all of those cuts separately:
Whole goat: 20.6% discount
- Half goat: 17.7% discount
Also available individually:
A half goat will give you:
- 1× 1.5 lb rack of ribs,
- 2× 11 oz loin chops,
- 2× 2 lbs leg roasts,
- 2× 1.25 lbs shoulder chops,
- 6× 1 lb trimmings in your choice of ground or cubed. The cubed meat is offered either boneless or bone-in — choose your preferred option when you add to cart.
A whole goat will give you double these amounts. Sorry, no organ meats are included in half or whole goat orders.
Each individual cut may vary ±5% in weight, so we check each order to make sure that we give you the same total weight for everything.
We deliver our goat meat to you fresh-frozen in individually vacuum-sealed cuts.
